As many of you already know, there are two major sources of Okinawan coral calcium: below-the-sea marine coral and fossilized above-sea coral. Our research has led us to choose fossilized coral calcium. We think it offers the best value for our customers because of the following.
- Potency. Our fossilized coral contains 37 to 38% calcium. Marine coral contains between 20 to 24% calcium.
-
More Available Calcium. The aragonite form of calcium in fossilized coral is easier for the body to absorb.
-
Purity. No additives or heat treatment is required to process fossilized coral into a quality product.
-
Environmental Considerations. Mining fossilized above-sea coral does not harm living coral reefs with the silt created by marine harvesting.
